There are so many Disney shows and artists out there, but these are some of my faves.

My favorite TV show is Liv and Maddie. Its my favorite because these two girls are sisters from different “worlds” and go on great adventures together.

This is a comedy that everybody can enjoy!

My favorite movie is Wizards of Waverly Place because it is very adventurous and funny.

My favorite movie inspirers me to be adventurous and try new things. Like being strong enough to compete in a swimming meet. I do that too!!

Body Wave or Brazilian?

I’m a naturally curly girl but sometimes I have a hankering for some Brazilian or Malaysian hair. Now, “quality” hair tends to be pricier than most of the hair you will buy at your local beauty supply store sold in packages. Disclaimer:  There is nothing wrong with packaged hair. It just does not stay in it’s original form for too long. It gets matted and tangled easier. With that being said, here is a peek into some of my favorite and some of your according to your youtube reviews. Youtube ladies rock!

Ming Lee of Snob Life has really created a brand with the type of hair that she supplies to clients. The site is pink and pretty and the hair satisfies.

http://www.trueindianhair.com has New York locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. Nothing beats a visit to an actual location in order to touch and feel the hair that you are interested in purchasing.

If you don’t know BeautybyJJ then please run to http://www.youtube.com and search her name. She represents for the girls who rock the Brazilian and the Malaysian flawlessly. She is committed to WhitneyMarie UK.  She is really versed in applying make-up and her videos are about application of all types of fabulous make-up brands but take a peek at the hair while you are there. http://www.whitneymarieuk.com.

I love using timeout magazine for locating some of the best activities and events happening around in and around the New York City area. What’s great about them is that they have events that everyone can choose from. Summers coming up and the city is loaded with things to do.

I have a 9-year old so I rely on timeout/kids to keep me abreast of all of the best activities and events to take your little ones to.

Timeout Magazine has a great website and covers events for most major cities in the US. Check them out at http://www.timeout.com

A close runner up for finding events in NYC are New York Magazine, http://www.nymag.com. If you are looking for events for the kiddies then check http://www.mommypoppins.com.
